Meet Melissa Hatten
I’m Melissa Hatten, Principal and Owner of Hatten Health and Life, LLC — a fully licensed Life & Health insurance agent in both North and South Carolina, and a South Carolina Notary Public.
I’m a true city-girl-turned-country, born in New Jersey and raised up north before heading to North Carolina to raise my three amazing sons.
In 1999, my family and I moved south and never looked back. In November of 2021, I planted roots in South Carolina with one big goal in mind: to help even more people by bringing a personal, human touch to insurance.
I stepped into the world of Life & Health insurance in 2019 and instantly found my calling. I genuinely love connecting with people — hearing their stories, learning from their life experiences, and helping them feel confident and cared for when it comes to their coverage.
Today, I’m honored to serve over 400 clients — who I proudly call family. Many truly are family, and the rest feel like it. That’s what drives me to keep learning, keep growing, and always do better for the people who trust me.
I love what I do, I believe deeply in advocating for my clients, and I can’t imagine my life on any other path.
